Ferrous bisglycinate is a chelated form of iron, bound to the amino acid glycine. It is well absorbed and generally gentler on the stomach than simple ferrous salts. Iron is needed to make haemoglobin, which carries oxygen in the blood.

Folic Acid (as N-pteroyl-L-glutamic acid) 300 mcg

Needed to form healthy red blood cells and for cell growth. Adequate folic acid before and during early pregnancy is important for the baby's neural tube development.

Zinc (as Zinc Sulphate) 17 mg

A trace mineral that supports immunity, growth, wound healing and a normal sense of taste and appetite.
